Great Date Movies

Please tell me you aren’t reading this post in preparation for a first date. If you are please reconsider your date plans. Movies make for excellent dates once you get to know one another. Take the lucky guy or girl somewhere nice to eat. Then plan something afterwards where you can talk and get to know one another. You don’t want the date to end and still be next to a stranger. Come back here after your awesome first date for later date ideas. We’ll still be here. Alright, everyone else, let’s move on.

Curl up on your couch for an easy date!

Some of the best date movies offer something for both the boys and the girls. Date movies should include a little action for the guys with a romance story for the ladies. Here are some of our top picks:

1. Any James Bond Movie- Men- it’s a spy movie. What more could you ask for? Ladies- the men are in suits. ;)

2. Mr. & Mrs. Smith- Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. There is enough eye candy to go around here, people.

3. The Social Network- It’s something you and your significant other use probably every day. The wit in this movie should keep you both entertained and if you find yourself otherwise preoccupied, you won’t have missed much.

4. Killers- Along the lines of a James Bond movie but with more comedy.

5. Date Night- When comedians like Tina Fey and Steve Carell get together there isn’t much that can be bad. Plus the symmetry of watching “Date Night” on a date night is nice.

Make it a Netflix night! Spend your time browsing and adding things to watch together to your queue Some of the best dates I’ve been on we spent longer in the rental store than we did watching the actual movie. It’s a great way to learn more about what each other likes and revisit old movies from your childhood. Disclaimer: They are never as good as you remember them.
